Public School Volunteer Week is a nationwide celebration in which schools recruit, engage, count and recognize the services of America’s dedicated school volunteers.
Fayette County Public Schools is hosting four days of “community conversations” to recognize those who have offered their time, encourage others to get involved, gather feedback, and discuss volunteer needs, barriers and concerns. Volunteer information will be available, as well as assistance with website access, volunteer background checks, Infinite Campus, etc.
Monday, April 22
- 6 to 7:30 p.m. – Northside Library, 1733 Russell Cave Road (large conference room)
Tuesday, April 23
- 6 to 7:30 p.m. – Village Branch Library, 2185 Versailles Road (teen room)
Wednesday April 24
- 6 to 7:30 p.m. – Tates Creek Library, 3628 Walden Drive (large conference room)
Thursday, April 25
- Noon to 1:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. – Central Library, 140 E Main St. (fourth floor, conference room B)
