The Commodore Corner School Store at Tates Creek High School has received national recognition from DECA, which awarded it silver-level certification. Led by juniors Samantha Ingram and Sarah Hayden, the store employees completed DECA’s school-based enterprise certification project in the fall. The criteria included 10 performance indicators that reflect a great retail store. The Creek students provided evidence for their store’s progress toward those indicators and proved that TCHS has an enterprise worthy of commendation.
