Coleman Stivers placed first in agricultural process proficiency and in agriscience research (plant systems), while David Ehlert was first in the outdoor recreation competition.
About 2,600 people attended the conference, which included state contest finals, leadership workshops, a Day of Service, social events, awards program, and election of the 2015-2016 FFA state officers. The keynote speaker was Kentucky native Ruth Ann Myers, who is vice president of the National FFA Eastern Region.
