Eastside, Southside students excel in SkillsUSA state contests

Students from Southside and Eastside technical centers who received gold medals in the 2013 SkillsUSA state competition will advance to the National Leadership and Skills Conference set for June 24-28 in Kansas City, Mo.  The state officers, including Eastside's Patricia Taylor and Dalton Cox, will also attend. 

Four dozen FCPS students participated in the April 2-5 state conference in Louisville, where they also conducted business for the Kentucky chapter, met with business and industry representatives, and heard from government officials.
