Students at Locust Trace AgriScience Farm competed at the Bluegrass Region FFA Day, and two will advance to Kentucky’s FFA contests during the June 10-13 state convention. Coleman Stivers won first place in Ag Processing Proficiency and was runner-up in Vegetable Production Proficiency and in Prepared Public Speaking; and Cat Jones was runner-up in Horse Impromptu.
Congratulations also on these outstanding regional showings March 12 at the University of Kentucky. Each student earned a superior rating:
- Octavia Barber – Talent;
- Taylor Hudson – Small Animal Impromptu;
- Austin Leake – Outdoor Recreation Proficiency;
- Danielle Milbern – Beef Impromptu;
- Scrapbook.
