Sandersville Elementary’s seventh annual Sharks on the Run 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8 a.m. May 14 at the school, 3025 Sandersville Road in the Masterson Station subdivision. Proceeds will go to Sandersville Elementary and Leestown Middle School. The day’s events will include commemorative T-shirts, chip timing by 3 Way Racing (5K), age group awards, music, door prizes, refreshments, and an appearance by the Lexington Legends’ mascot.
